Could you fix the wallpaper for the cellphone on the mobile version, because Sabrina is my Favorite Character in the game so far. Every time I use her for a background it goes black for the background after I look at the wallpaper.
tap the bottom right of the screen when that happens, the black screen thing effects certain devices, we're trying to figure out why but until we have a fix this works.

I chose to not release a patch for mobile version since it didn't contain major fixes and I wanted to devote more time to the development of 5.5 after I lost time in January.
So I should not have an early release for the people that financially support me and this project? That's not how it works my dude, the game is free and the short early release window is one of the only ways for the project to grow financially.
I release the game for free because I want people to play it, and I really appreciate anyone that plays and enjoys the game regardless of if they pay anything or not. I just found the suggestion that I shouldn't have a pre-release for those that do support to be kinda ridiculous/entitled. I dunno, I'm gonna choose to believe the original commenter doesn't understand the business model and it was an innocent suggestion.
I'm a free user and personally I'm just happy that the short window release time is as short as it is I'm just happy that the game gets updated regularly and then I get to play it and it makes it even better that there's frequent updates.

there was a small bug, and i forgot how i triggered it, but it was the hotdog scene with the aunt, after i went into the area to rewatch, i did something, maybe skipped through the dialogue or something, and it got stuck with a picture of the scene on my screen, and i lost a bit of progress, not too much luckily, but even reloading the save didnt work, so i had to start from about 30 mins before that
also i dont know how to get into candy's house
edit: i figured out how to get into the house, you just go at noon

Make sure you grab the first page floating in front of the comic shop (where you met her), the other pages don't spawn until after you snag that first one

When I do the event of the mother on the sofa where she takes off her shirt for the first time I have a bug and the scene repeats itself without end and does not let me move forward
ok so I'm having an issue where I have no idea where I can play the game, I hit download to Mac and it brings me to a website called mega, I downloaded the game and it made a folder called DD_ V05_Public_M_AC, I clicked on it and it has 3 things. Credits, v8_context_snapshot.x86_64.bin, and Game. I clicked on the game option and it says I can't due to it saying I don't have permission to open it. also I have like every png, text and stuff from the game on Mega, I have no clue what's going on, my brother doesn't either and he's the tech guy of the family. I just want to know how to play it.
Some folks have issues with the Mac version - here's some advice I've compiled from different users who got it working.
"If it says permission is denied to open it, try opening the terminal and putting "chmod -R a+x" then leave a space and drag the game icon into terminal, then hit enter. This works for any game that permission is denied for. Disclaimer: I have no idea why this works but it does."
"If you open this on a mac and just get a black screen, try right-clicking -> show package contents -> contents -> MacOS and click 'nwjs' and run that. I think it uses a little more processing power than running it the usual way."
Around when it's done, I post progress logs every week so folks can know where I'm at but I don't do release dates ahead of time, I only announce it around a week out when I know I can make the deadline
I have a writing partner and have hired a coder, but they've only come in board mid last-build and are still working through my old stuff trying to improve it so for now it's just me doing all the production stuff for each update. Hopefully it'll speed up in the future.
For a new teaser image, yeah. Everyone will know, hopefully, when the release is as I will make official announcements on all the social spots. Until I do that, there is no release date, if that was what you assumed I don't know where you got that from

Is there a way to change the main character's name in a save (wanting to change name in provided save file 50)
There's an item in your inventory in that save that let's you do that
i install the patch but it doesnot update any scenes so is the patch contain any update on the story?
The 5.1 patch only corrects bugs reported after the public release. There is no new content in that patch
